What makes a good GPX animation?
A clean track, useful timestamps, and a deliberate camera angle matter more than excessive effects. Start with the whole route, then choose a playback speed that keeps the geography readable.
For a vertical social post, preview the 9:16 crop before recording. For YouTube or a longer film, landscape output leaves more space for the map and statistics.
